Dr. Ian Yamane grew up in a small community in San Diego County. At home, his mother battled illness for over 20 years. He witnessed a high spirited woman who was held back by a sick body and was relegated to her bed. She had no vitality and was always sick. He watched his father pick up the slack in the household to care for his sick wife while working full time and raising a family. It was painful for Dr. Yamane to experience his parents return each time from a doctor's visit as he had high hopes that the large bag of pills would somehow cure her. At times there were some glimpses of hope that she was cured, yet gradually over time she would end up right back in bed. Unfortunately, after visiting with many of the top healthcare specialists she passed away at a premature age. From that moment on, Dr. Yamane had a burning desire to start his journey in finding a way to help people with chronic and difficult to treat conditions. His desire for all families to enjoy optimal health drives his research and development of patient care so that no individual within families will have to suffer the same life-long debilitating heath that held back his family from the joy they could have had.
Read MoreI’m Dr. Priscila Brannigan, a naturopathic doctor committed to helping patients reach optimal health through a holistic, personalized approach. My main areas of focus—gastrointestinal health, hormone balance, and regenerative medicine—are key to achieving long-term wellness.
My journey into natural medicine began in 2016 when I started exploring treatments to address my own digestive and hormonal health challenges. Through extensive research and personal trials, I was able to restore my health—an experience that sparked my passion for naturopathic medicine. This led me to commit to a career, focusing on treating root causes and empowering healing. After completing my pre-med and psychology studies at Baruch College, I earned a health coaching certification from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN), which strengthened my skills in dietary guidance and wellness coaching. I then pursued my Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine degree at Bastyr University, followed by a certification in gastrointestinal health from the Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM). My hands-on experience in a naturopathic clinic in San Diego further deepened my understanding of integrative, patient-centered care.
In my experience, gastrointestinal health is key, as digestion affects energy, immunity, and mood. I create personalized plans to address gut issues, including dysbiosis, inflammation, and food sensitivities, using dietary changes, supplements, and detoxification.
I also focus on hormone balance, supporting thyroid, adrenal, reproductive, and metabolic health. Through comprehensive testing, natural therapies, and lifestyle strategies, I help patients restore hormonal balance and vitality.
My experience in regenerative medicine includes IV therapies and PRP, offering treatments that boost cellular repair, and athletic performance, strengthen the immune system, increase energy, and improve cognitive function. These therapies enhance overall healing and resilience.
I’m dedicated to empowering my patients with clear, science-based guidance so they can make informed decisions about their health.

Every day I get to come to work knowing we are making a difference! I love functional medicine and all that is stands for. Healing people at a cellular level and helping the body heal itself is amazing. I have seen our Valhalla Team help 100s of patients over the years. We have a Team that truly does care about patients and wants to help them be their best self!
When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband, kids, mom, friends and dogs. I also have 2 grandchildren that I adore and love to spend time with! I love golfing! Being out on the golf course is so relaxing, even when I am playing bad!
I started becoming intrigued with functional medicine after my sister was diagnosed with brain cancer. I saw what prescription medication did to her and how it affected her children, her husband and the rest of our family. We all started slowly changing our lifestyle. We’ve seen improvement and it’s the best feeling in the world.
My husband, children and I recently moved to Las Vegas from Hawaii. Going to the beach used to be something we did almost every weekend. Now that we don’t have the beach, we find ourselves at the parks a lot. I enjoy spending time, outdoors, with my family.
I have worked in retail customer service at a craft store for many years. I liked helping people with their design and creativity ideas. I felt I had made a difference in their lives even just a little.
I became part of the Valhalla Wellness Family in late January of 2022. It was my first time working in a medical office, and I didn’t know much about Functional Medicine. While working at Valhalla, I have learned more about Functional medicine. I found myself enjoying working with patients and hearing the great things that Dr. Yamane has done for them. I, myself have started my personal healing here at Valhalla.
I have two little ones at home who I spend all my off time with. I enjoy sewing, crafting, and making things for my little ones. When I have the time, I enjoy watching movies, reading books, gaming and a playing a little Dungeons & Dragons.
Born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada to immigrant parents, I grew up to stray away from prescription medicine and turn to natural remedies to treat common colds. I joined the Valhalla and NRC Team in August of 2023 in which I have learned a lot about Functional Medicine and Chiropractic care.
Falling into the same concept of healing your body in a natural way, I became intrigued to learn more about how Dr. Kate Gerber, Dr. John Gerber and Dr. Ian Yamane help their patients. I have over 5 years of customer service experience and one thing I will always love doing is providing the care and support patients need in their healing journey.
When I am not at work, I love spending as much time as I can with my family and friends. I enjoy taking my dog to the park or staying home to watch movies/binge watch tv shows.
